Susan is a freelance stage manager and muralist. Loving being a part of the NoCo art scene, she stage manages at the University of Northern Colorado, where she is seeking a BFA in Theater Design and Technology with an emphasis in stage management. Susan has worked on Bernhardt/Hamlet (2022), Dance Concert: On City Life and Longing (2023), Seussical (2024), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (2024), and is greatly looking forward to managing That Day in Tucson in the spring of 2025.
Throughout her career, Susan has had the fortune of working with notable directors such as Broadway actress and freelance director and producer Sheryl McCallum, and the artistic directors of the renowned Sokolow Dance Ensemble. Post-college she intends to stay in the Northern Colorado region and hopes to expand her expertise beyond the world of traditional theater. She is particularly intrigued by the idea of managing for local Drag talent and seasonal horror attractions. as her heart will always belong to the live theater experience.
Outside of her emphasis, Susan has developed a fascination and appreciation for the world of fashion and costuming, and uses her knowledge of the topic to make her own clothing and provide quick fixes to costume malfunctions. Susan is always looking for the next project and cannot wait to continue contributing to the Colorado performance scene.
